The Fish Market in Gürpınar in Istanbul, Turkey opened its doors to the public in mid-2015. It was created as a joint venture between Nuhoğlu Inşaat and Nas Inşaat, and FabricAir is proud to have delivered the 3,236 running meters of fabric ducts that makes up the air dispersion system in this state-of-the-art fish marked. With its impressive length and an 800 mm diameter this easily makes it one of the biggest projects we’ve delivered in Turkey thus far. The FabricAir dispersion system was selected for the project due to our outstanding reputation in the region and proven worldwide track record. Fabric ducting is ideal in this type of environment due to the inherent hygienic benefits of condensation-free air dispersion. Bacteria growth is inhibited and if needed the fabric ducts can easily be taken down and laundered. Using FabricAir dispersion systems also prevents drafts and significantly lowers the noise levels from the ventilations system creating superior comfort for those who occupy the building. FabricAir covers about 70% of the fabric duct market in Turkey and we greatly appreciate our business partners and clients in the region.
