HEALTY EMPLOYEES AND PERFECT COOLING PERFORMANCE

Production in cold room conditions require engineered air dispersion in order to optimize product safety and minimize the health risks to the employees. This is why Keskinoğlu selected  the original FabricAir Dispersion Systems for their production plant in Manissa, Turkey.

 

Background

With almost half a century of experience in chicken meat and egg production, Keskinoğlu stands out as one of the leading brands in the industry.

Keskinoğlu is also engaged in olive oil, feed and fertilizer production as well as pullets and breeding. 

The ideal temperature of production areas in poultry processing plants is around 5 to 8° C [41 - 46.4°F]. Evaporators are used to keep the temperature in the production areas within in this  range; ho wever, cooling the air only through evaporators does not yield healthy results in terms of cooling homogeneity and quality.

In addition, workers who work at lower temperatures and are exposed to cold breezes feel under the weather and often face health problems.

Keskinoğlu conducted research to solve these problems, and their contractor suggested FabricAir Dispersion Systems.

 

Solution

This solution is a classic food production cooling application - an area of expertise FabricAir has refined since the beginning in 1973, which is why FabricAir is the first choice of meat processing companies.

Fabric-based air dispersion technology ensures a healthy environment for employees and delivers a high cooling and dispersion performance ideal for integrated meat processing plants where the meat is processed in cold room conditions.

The bespoke solution is tailored in FabricAir® Trevira CS, which minimizes bacterial growth and enables efficient frequent wash-downs of the production facility. The ductwork can easily be taken down for laundry.

 

Results

The result is a healthy work environment with fewer sick days among the employees, as well as perfect cooling performance ensuring the highest degree of product safety.
